After leaving Santa Fe we headed up into the mountains north of there, bound for Jemez. I had heard that there were some great hot springs there, and we wanted to spend some time in higher elevations after being in the desert for a bit. We were totally blown away by how beautiful it was!! Pinon forests and clear streams and, of course, amazing hot springs. It felt good to be in the mountains for a bit, and we even got some (unexpected) snow! The hot springs were phenomenal, and one of them required a 5 mile bike ride in on a dirt road, which was a great adventure. Overall, a fantastic time and one of my favorite places on the trip so far (although it's so hard to say).
