We recently spent part of a weekend exploring new backroads with my brother and his girlfriend. We were on our way to the Wildwood Hotel in Willamina to catch a few of our favorite musicians, Anna Tivel and Jeffrey Martin, play a set in the bar there. The Wildwood is an awesome, funky, unique little hotel/bar/restaurant, and has made it a focus to bring great music to their small corner of the world. If you haven't been there, go! We had a great time driving down new back roads, stopping to take photos and hike to a gorgeous set of waterfalls. I've lived in this area for all but 6 years of my life, and it's amazing how there are still new places to explore and new roads to see. I didn't have a chance to take any photos at the show, but here are a few shots from our explorations (including getting the new van stuck for the first time! Yikes!).
