Today is the longest day of the year, and the Summer Solstice. I've always loved the solstices, and the idea of celebrating the changing seasons.
Summertime in Oregon is pretty sublime, and I'm looking forward to so many more sunny days, surf sessions, garden fresh veggies, farmers markets, potlucks & BBQ's, yoga and reading in the sun.
Today was a perfect summer Saturday: A long bike ride through the countryside with this in my earbuds, tasty lunch in the sun while reading this, visiting friends who are working on their new home, and a little container gardening.
